Staff Analysis of the Legislation
HB 270 sets deadline in which the board of registrars must receive an absentee ballot to 5:00 P.M. on the second Friday before a primary, election, or runoff. The bill further requires that all approved absentee ballots be sent back to the elector within three business days upon the board of registrar’s receipt.
