HB 534 provides for a crime and penalty for promoting, organizing, or participating in illegal drag racing or laying drags, as well as reckless stunt driving. Violations of this bill are punishable by a misdemeanor of a high and aggravated nature and can result in fines, the suspension of his or her driver's license, and imprisonment. The bills provides for penalties to escalate based on the number of convictions a person receives.
