SB1104- education programs; juvenile
detention centers (Carter) This bill sets
the base amount of funding for the juvenile detention center education fund for
FY20 as $100,000. Adjusts the
calculation of the variable amount of funding received to- the number of days
in the prior FY that each child in the detention center past 48 hours that
received instruction of 240 minutes or more, multiplied by $25. Requires any
excess money in the detention center education fund will be used to supplement
class spending. |
