Staff Analysis of the Legislation
Prevents the State Board of Education from administering statewide assessments of student achievements of the state’s academic standards to 11th graders. Prevents the board from administering the statewide assessment in science to high schoolers, and instead requires the board to administer to all high schoolers a statewide college readiness examination with a science portion.
