Prohibits educators who teach or administer a career and technical education program or course at a JTED satellite campus from being a member of the JTED's governing board. Allows current JTED governing board members to serve the remainder of their normal term. ASBA is monitoring. While typically ASBA supports the elimination of possible conflicts of interest, we are aware of the concerns of JTEDs whose board members would be affected by the bill, and will address them to the sponsor in hopes of finding a resolution. |
