Staff Analysis of the Legislation
This bill expands the College Credit by Examination Incentive Program to include students who earn vocational certifications or licensure through a CTE course or program. The Office of Economic Opportunity will maintain a list of qualifying certifications and licenses. $1M is appropriated from the general fund to provide the bonuses to school districts and charter schools.
