This bill allows the School Facilities Board (SFB) to award funds from the SFB Building Renewal Grant Fund to a school district to replace a damaged building or facility if the district submits information on the damaged building to the SFB, an estimation of the cost to replace the building is obtained, and the cost to repair the building is shown to exceed the cost to replace it. SFB must receive the approval of the Joint Committee on Capital Review to distribute the funds. |
