HB2082- junior reserve officer training; CTE (Blackman)

This bill reclassifies Junior Reserve officer training (JROTC) as a career technical education (CTE) program.

States that the CTE division of the Department of Education shall approve a CTE districts JROTC program if it meets statutory requirements.

Appropriates $500,000 from the general fund in FY20 to the ADE for prorated per pupil distribution to CTE districts or school districts that offer a JROTC program that has been approved by the CTE division of the ADE.
