Staff Analysis of the Legislation

This bill specifies that a student at any level or through grade 12, or in child care, is eligible for a religious exemption from immunization to be admitted to schools.

Establishes that a signed statement for exemption may be either a form provided by the Department of Health Services or from parents of students.

Clarifies that the signed exemption sheet does not need to be a form provided by the school, and can be provided by the parent.
