HB2518- appropriation; online early learning (Udall)

This bill appropriates $500,000 from the General Fund in FY20 to provide an online early learning program for 4-year-old children.

Requires ADE to select a provider to administer the program that is a nonprofit organization with demonstrated past success administering similar programs.

Directs ADE to require the provider to submit quarterly reports that include information like the number of families participating in the program, parental feedback, and student performance on prekindergarten and kindergarten readiness assessments.

Terminates the program on July 1, 2021.
