Staff Analysis of the Legislation
This bill specifies that if a student transfers into a district or charter school and fails to meet the promotion requirements for third grade, eighth grade, or high school graduation, the school or district is not required to report that data for one year for the purposes of A-F letter grades and teacher and principal performance evaluations.
