Department of Education can establish a clearing house of interactive distance learning courses offered by any school district for sharing with other districts and charter schools for a fee.  DOE will catalog each course, review the content for quality and evaluate the teacher.  Student may enroll if approved by the student’s school and if the student’s school agrees to accept the course credit offered.  DOE transfers the FTE dollars for student’s home school to the school district offering the course.  DOE may offer it to private school students and home schooled students in the same manner as GA Virtual School’s courses are offered.  GA Virtual School is run by the DOE and offers high school courses.
