SUMMARY:  LC 40 0507  Requires state entities prior to entering into a private contract for services (exception: professional and personal employment services) to make public a cost comparison between the private contract and performance of such services by public employees.

REQUIREMENTS: Private contracts are prohibited for services unless such contract is projected to provide overall cost savings of at least 10 percent.
