SUMMARY:  LC 33 2847
Creates a "Georgia Closing the Gap Commission" with members appointed by the Governor, Lt. Governor, Speaker of the House, Senate Ed Committee, and House Ed Committee, with approval by the State Board.  The Commission is to focus on researching and making recommendations related to closing the student achievement gap for at-risk students.

EFFECTIVE DATE:  Upon approval by the Governor or by becoming law without such approval.
