SUMMARY:  Requires each public school in Georgia to put into place a recycling program.

REQUIREMENTS:  Prior to January 1, 2011, every public school must establish a recycling program to include paper, metals, plastics, bottles, and other materials.  A report outlining the program must be submitted to the State Board of Education.

EFFECTIVE DATE:  July 1, 2010
