SUMMARY: Requires local boards to adopt and implement policies which include specific procedures and safety precautions regarding unloading students under eight years of age from a school bus.
REQUIREMENTS: - policies and procedures must be in writing and available for public inspection
- school bus drivers must acknowledge in writing that he/she received a copy and has read and understands policies and procedures
EFFECTIVE DATE: Upon approval by the General Assembly and Governor.
