SUMMARY: LC 33 4792 Allows the State Board of Education to transfer assets held in trust to the Georgia Foundation for Public Education for management and administration.

POINTS TO CONSIDER: The State Board is authorized to receive gifts and donations on behalf of the state. This legislation permits transfer of such assets to the Foundation to be managed and administered.

EFFECTIVE DATE: Upon approval by the Governor.
