SUMMARY: Requires state and local government agencies (including school boards) when contracting for supplies, materials, equipment, or agricultural products, to give preference as far as may be reasonable and practicable to purchase goods manufactured or produced in the United States.

REQUIREMENTS: Purchase of Georgia products shall take precedence over items produced outside the state.

EFFECTIVE DATE: Upon approval by the Governor.
