SUMMARY: HB 405/SCSFA/2

Provides for the State Board or the State Charter Schools Commission to provide for and approve initial and annual training for members of governing boards of charter schools. Requires those board members to attend training.

SB 372 was added to this bill requiring school systems, at teh end of each year, to provide each freshman, sophomore, and junior or his/her parent the grade point average calculated by the Georgia Student Finance Commission for determining HOPE eligibility.
