SUMMARY:  LC 33 5996  Authorizes the State Charter Commission to establish a nonprofit foundation for the purpose of actively seeking supplemental revenue and in-kind goods, services, and property to promote state charter schools and other purposes of the Commission. Funds received may be awarded through a competitive grant process.

EFFECTIVE DATE:  Upon approval by the General Assembly and Governor.
