Authorizes voluntary payroll deductions for purchase by certain public officers and employees (including school system employees) of certain approved consumer offerings through an employee purchase program facilitated by the Georgia Department of Administrative Services.

POINTS TO CONSIDER:

  • current law authorizes voluntary payroll deductions for public employee purchase of personal computers and related equipment through the Georgia Technology Authority

  • There is no definition of "consumer offering" or suggestion of what that might include
