SUMMARY: In order to receive their high school diploma, students entering the ninth grade in the 2016 - 2017 school year, must pass a civics test identical to the test used by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.

EFFECTIVE DATE: Upon approval by the General Assembly and Governor.
