SUMMARY:  LC 33 6179S  Creates a House of Representatives study committeee on Health, Education, and School-Based Health Centers.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Five member committe; members appointed by Speaker of the House
  • Committee to study conditions, needs, issues, and problems related to student health and recommend legislation thought appropriate
  • Committee will make recommendations regarding the creation of a state-wide plan to promote development and funding of comprehensive school-based health centers in underserved communities in Georgia. 

EFFECTIVE DATE: If passed by the House, the committee is abolished on December 1, 2015.
