Staff Analysis of the Legislation

SUMMARY:   LC 28 7639  Requires that special elections to present a question to voters for the purpose of raising revenue shall be held only on the Tuesday after the first Monday in November of each year.  Such special election must be held at least 29 days after the date of the call for the election.

EFFECTIVE DATE:  Upon approval by the General Assembly and Governor.
