SUMMARY:  LC 43 0165    A proposed constitutional amendment that would allow school districts to impose, levy, and collect impact fees and use the proceeds to pay for a share of the additional cost of educational facilities.

To qualify,  the system must have had an enrollment growth of at least 15 percent over the previous year in the area where construction is contemplated. 

EFFECTIVE DATE:  Upon approval of 2/3 vote of the House and Senate and approval by the voters.
