"Georgia Student Religious Liberties Act of 2016" requires districts to adopt a policy to ensure the school system does not discriminate against a student's publicly stated voluntary expression of a religious viewpoint and for other purposes and requires specific elements be included such as the establishment of a limited public forum for student speakers at all school events at which a student is to publicly speak.
This is one of several religious freedom bills in the General Assembly this year.
