SUMMARY:  LC 36 2911ER  Requires employers to implement a sick leave policy that allows an employee to earn and accrue at least 556 hours of paid sick leave per year.  Leave shall accrue at the rate of one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked.  Unused leave may be carried over from one year to the next. Leave may be used beginning on the ninetieth day of employment.

EFFECTIVE DATE:  Upon approval by the General Assembly and Governor.
