SUMMARY: LC 33 6366 

Passage of this bill would establish the Blue Star Family Scholarship Program,  a voucher program, for children of military service members.

REQUIREMENTS:

Student must reside in Georgia and parent or legal guardian must be an active duty military service member, stationed in Georgia or a member of the Georgia National Guard, or a member of a reserve component of the armed forces residing in Georgia.                              

EFFECTIVE DATE:  Upon approval by the General Assembly and Governor.
