SUMMARY:  LC 33 6374 LC 33 6470S (SCS)  Prohibits high schools that receive state funding from participating in, sponsoring, or providing coaching staff for interscholastic athletic events which are conducted under the authority of any athletic association which prohibits religious expression of student athletes other than as required to protect the safety of the athletes.

In addition, member schools are not to be prohibited from playing non member schools. 

EFFECTIVE DATE:  Upon approval by the General Assembly and Governor.
