SUMMARY:  LC 33 6416   Expands provisions relating to awarding high school diplomas based on dual credit coursework. Courses are to be instructionally rigorous, operate in accordance with industry standards, and provide quality training.

A student who receives a diploma taking coursework that meets these standards shall be deemed to have met the HOPE scholarship requirements. 

EFFECTIVE DATE:  Upon approval by the General Assembly and Governor.
