Staff Analysis of the Legislation

SUMMARY:  LC 28 7933   The allotment of funds to a county school system of any county having one or more independent school systems shall be reduced in each fiscal year by the amount of ad valorem taxes collected on behalf of such county school system in excess of 20 mills.

EFFECTIVE DATE:  Upon approval of the General Assembly and Governor.
