SUMMARY:  LC 28 7301  Allows the General Assembly to provide by local law for a period of district residency for candidates in county or municipal governing authorities (including school boards) not to exceed 12 months if elected from districts. 

EFFECTIVE DATE:  Upon approval by the General Assembly and Governor.
