SUMMARY: LC 28 7330ER  Creates another category of charter schools called charter -school-in-the-workplace.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Charter-school-in-the-workplace' means a school in which one or more business partners provide facility or operational funding and which enrolls students who are children of employees of such business partner or partners.
• Priority for enrollment shall be given to a student who is the child of an employee of the business partner of a charter-school-in-the-workplace.

EFFECTIVE DATE: Upon approval by  the General Assembly and Governor.
