SUMMARY: LC 29 7390-EC

Recommendations of the Governor's Criminal Justice Reform Package. Would enable juvenile court judges to issue a restraining order controlling the conduct of a parent, guardian or legal custodian in any proceeding involving a child in need of services or a delinquent child. Also broadens what options the court has to place a child who has been found incompetent but has committed a crime in the least restrictive setting while balancing public safety concerns.
