A Constitutional amendment to elect the members of the State Board of Education by a majority of the House and Senate members whose districts are within the Congressional district (as the DOT board is elected)

The ballot question would read:

Shall the Constitution of Georgia be amended so as to provide for the election of members of the State Board of Education from congressional districts by the members of the General Assembly from such district? 

EFFECTIVE DATE:

As State Board member terms expire after January 1, 2019 if a majority of the voters approve
