SUMMARY: LC 33 7028

Would create the House Study Committee on Civics Education in Georgia. Committee will be comprised of three members of the House of Representatives to be appointed by the Speaker of the House. The speaker will also designate the committee chairperson. Committee would investigate the national trend of declining civics education, as will as the status of civics education in the state of Georgia.

This committee will be abolished on December 1, 2017.
