SUMMARY: LC 29 7717    LC 29 7797S (SCS)

Would make it a crime for anyone to knowingly access a computer or a computer network without authority. Would not apply to parents or legal guardians of individuals under the age of 18 from monitoring, or denying computer usage, or copying data from individuals computer. Would also not prohibit access to a computer or computer network for a legitimate business activity.

July 1, 2018, if passed
