SUMMARY: LC 33 7217 LC 33 7348S

Relates to the "Quality Basic Education Act". Would revise Code Section 20-2-143 to include annual age-appropriate sexual abuse and assault awareness and prevention education for grades kindergarten through ninth. Required professional learning for certificated personnel may also include participating in or presenting at in-service training programs on sexual abuse and assault awareness and prevention.
