SUMMARY:

LC 33 7744

Would require that the Department of Education in consultation with the Department of Public Health develop (no later than August 30, 2019) an informational fact sheet explaining the use and misuse of opioid drugs. This informational fact sheet would be distributed annually to the parents of student athletes in the chance that a student is prescribed an opioid drug for a sports related injury. 

 

EFFECTIVE DATE:

July 1, 2019 if passed.
