SUMMARY:

LC 36 3869

Would prevent any student that is a "child entertainer" from being counted absent, whether excused or unexcused if it is in connection with a performance, provided that the child's parent or guardian can provide a receipt from the entertainment employer as proof.

EFFECTIVE DATE:

July 1, 2019 if passed.
