Would require local boards of education to schedule recess for all students in grades kindergarten though fifth. Recess would not be required on a day that students had physical education or structured activity time or if inclement weather prohibited it, and no indoor space was available. 

EFFECTIVE DATE:

Would be implemented beginning the 2020-2021 school year if passed.
