SUMMARY:

Relates to the "Move on When Ready Act". Would require the Office of Student Achievement The Georgia Student Finance Commission to establish program objectives and participation targets including but not limited to targets that would increase participation by underrepresented group of students. The Office of Student Achievement The Georgia Student Finance Commission would be required to report to the Governor and General Assemby data that would include participation rates among students by race, gender, ethnicity, economic status and geographic location; rates of college enrollment and graduation for students who have completed one or more dual credit courses; the correlation between duel enrollment and the time it takes to complete a college degree and common factors involved when a student drops, withdraws or fails a duel credit course. This report would be required no later than October 1 of each year.

July 1, 2020, if passed.
