SUMMARY: LC 28 9916
Provides a process if a candidate in a nonpartisan election dies prior to the election. The candidates name would remain on the ballot and the votes counted. If the deceased candidate won, the election would be handled as a failure to fill the office under 21-2-504. If the deceased would have been in a runoff, the election shall be handled as provided in 20-2-501.
