SUMMARY: LC 28 9917

HB 65 would authorize the General Assembly to pass local legislation allowing a November election for local boards of education that are in a county with a consolidated government that are nonpartisan.  Currently, all nonpartisan elections are held on the Primary date.  The bill also includes requirements for the ballot including how to cast a vote, write in a candidate, and how to obtain a new ballot if the current one is spoiled.
