SUMMARY: LC 39 3067S

The Department of Public Safety, in collaboration with the Georgia Public Safety Training Center, shall develop a curriculum to educate drivers and the public on the best practices to implement when interacting with law enforcement officers.  The curriculum must be used as part of a driver education training course provided for by law.

The bill was amended with HB 248

Placement of speed zone cameras in school zones currently requires the school(s) in the zone to apply for the permit.  This bill changes that to the county or city whose law enforcemtn agency would be enforcing the speed limit.
