SUMMARY:  SB 117/AP

The bill amends the code section dealing with improper sexual contact by employee or agent.  It creates a new definition for a "person in a position of trust" as one with whom the parent or guardian has entered into an agreement with and entrusts that individual with the responsibility of both education and supervision of that minor. That relationship ends with the end of the agreement or when the minor is no longer under the supervision of the individual.

The bill also creates a crime of first degree and second degree for improper sexual contact or actions by the person of trust with the minor.
