SUMMARY: LC 49 0567

Requires local districts to provide annual notice to parents of students with an IEP of availability of interpreters.

Requires the State Board to establish rules for school districts to provide outreach to limited English proficient students and their parents as to the ESOL program. Also requires the State Board to set standards for foreign language interpreters providing services to students.
