SUMMARY:  LC 49 0932

It creates a Senate Study Committee to Review Education Funding Mechanisms.  It could address any of the funding formulas/processes but specifically mentions QBE, capital outlay, equalization, and virtual schools. It will be composed of the Senate Appropriations chair, the Senate Education & Youth chair, the Senate Education Appropriations Subcommittee chair, and two members of the Senate appointed by the Lt. Governor.

The Committee would be abolished December 1, 2022
