HB 164 (Reps. Martin and Casas - R)

Amends O.C.G.A. § 20-2-200 to extend the current suspension of Professional Learning Requirments for Professional Certificate renewal for personnel certified by the Professional Standards Commission until June 30, 2017 and states that by July 1, 2017, the PSC shall revise it certification renewal rules.

Currently, the suspension granted in 2010 for Professional Learning Credits for educator certificate renewal is set to expire on June 30, 2015.  This revision extends that suspension of this requirement for another 2 years.
