SUMMARY:

This bill would amend Code Section 20-2-281 of O.C. G.A. to set testing windows relative to a local school system’s school calendar.

REQUIREMENTS:

• The SBOE would have to establish time frames for all state tests that vary for each local system, based on the system’s starting date in their calendar.
• The intent is to ensure that all students have an equal number of instructional days prior to administration of an applicable state assessment.
